University of Lincoln invites applications for scholarships for self-funding international students. Eligible applicants must be applying to start postgraduate programme.
The international student must be enrolled on a University of Lincoln postgraduate taught course of study on the university’s student information system and have minimum 6.0 or equivalent IELTS score. Scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate programme.
Worth of Award: Each scholarship worth £2000 (deducted for programme fees).
Applicants applying for a postgraduate course and who meet the eligibility criteria will be awarded the Global Scholarship. There is no separate application process for Global Scholarships.
-The international student must have a student status of overseas on the student information system.
-The international student must be enrolled on a University of Lincoln postgraduate taught course of study on the university’s student information system.
-International students joining the University of Lincoln from a pre-masters course delivered by Study Group are also eligible for the £2000 Global Scholarship award, subject to meeting all other eligibility criteria.

Applicant will be automatically considered when they submit their application for the programme.
College Admission Requirement: Entrance Requirement: Whether students are looking at a master’s degree by research or a taught master’s, they shall need a relevant degree with a B grade average in their 300 level courses and final year (full-time equivalent). To apply for a Doctorate (PhD) at Lincoln University they need an appropriate/relevant postgraduate honours degree with second class honours, division one or its equivalent (or higher).
English Language Requirement: Minimum 6.0 or equivalent IELTS score is required to study at University of Lincoln. For details please check the university website.
Supporting Material: Before applicant apply, they need:
-Birth certificate or passport – certified copies only
-Academic transcripts – official copies or certified copies of all tertiary qualifications either complete or partially completed. Please include the grading scale
-A statement of their research interest
-Two references (not compulsory for a taught masters but helpful if they feel it will aid their application)
-Their curriculum vitae
-A research abstract of previous project/dissertation or thesis
Deadline: The application deadline for September Intake is 30 June and January Intake is 30 November.
