King’s College London is offering, ‘Canadian Friends Award’ in 2016-2017 for full time master’s degree program. Applicants should be permanent residents of Canada at the time of application and be domiciled within Canada for the last 3 years.

The aim of the Canadian Friends Award is to enable and encourage academically able students from Canada.

The objective of King’s College London is to manage the student life cycle from admission to graduation and to ensure a coherent and seamless student experience and effective administrative process.

Applicants with strong grades in a four year Bachelor’s course (or 3 year Baccalaureate ) are welcomed. Depending on institutions’ official final grading scale, minimum requirements for most of the postgraduate taught courses are likely to be: CGPA of 3.3/4.0, 7.0 out of 9, 9 out of 12, 77% and Grade B+. If applicants’ first language is not English they must be able to provide recent evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the programs for which they have applied.

Course Level: Scholarship program is offered for full-time postgraduate master’s programs at King’s College London during the 2016/17.

Study Subject: Scholarships are offered in diverse fields to help students in upgrading their education.

Scholarship Award: Each scholarship worth £1,000 one-off payment.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
-Open to residents of the following countries: Canada
-Applicants must Be due to commence a full-time postgraduate master’s program at King’s College London in the 2016/17 academic year;
-Be permanent residents of Canada at the time of application and be domiciled within Canada for the last 3 years, for purposes other than education;
-Be liable to pay tuition fees at the international/overseas (higher) rate;
-Complete and submit the required application documentation by the stated funding deadline;
-Fulfil the relevant entry requirements set by King’s College London;

Nationality: Scholarships are open to Canadian students.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicants with strong grades in a four year Bachelor’s course (or 3 year Baccalaureate ) are welcomed. Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: If applicants’ first language is not English applicants must be able to provide recent evidence that their spoken and written command of the English language is adequate for the program for which applicants have applied. The level of English language which the applicants are required to demonstrate is dependent upon the program for which applicants have applied. The level of English required for each program is denoted by a five-band system, each band corresponds to a level of English language competence.

Supporting Material: It must contain all the relevant supporting documentation, such as references, transcripts, and English language scores. It will be the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all supporting materials are submitted to the College by the funding deadline of 31st March 2016.

How to Apply: To be considered for the award, applicants must, by the application deadline of 31st March 2016:
-Have submitted a complete online admissions application for a postgraduate Master’s program at King’s College London.
Admissions applications must be ‘complete’ in order for an application to be considered for funding, and for an admissions application to be deemed ‘complete’ it must contain all the relevant supporting documentation, such as references, transcripts, and English language scores. It will be the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that all supporting materials are submitted to the College by the funding deadline of 31st March 2016.
2) Submit an online postgraduate taught (PGT) funding form. Note that this online funding application form should only be completed after a complete admissions application has been submitted to the university.
