The international software business TestPlant is offering MBA Scholarship at the University of Edinburgh Business School. Students of China are eligible to apply for this MBA scholarship.
TestPlant is offering this scholarship to provide £10,000 bursary towards tuition fees together with a paid internship in the Summer of 2016.

University requires all applicants to meet one of the following English language requirements: Applicants are a national of a majority English-speaking country as defined by the Home Office; applicants’ have completed an academic qualification at least equivalent to a UK Bachelors degree, which was taught in a majority English-speaking country; applicants’ have or will have achieved the minimum required score in one of our accepted English language tests.

Eligibility: Candidates for the TestPlant Scholarship must:
-Be intelligent, bold and ambitious.
-Demonstrate a passion for technology, improvement and innovation.
-Have an IT-related degree from a recognised University and with a grade equivalent to at least an Upper Second Honours.
-GMAT of at least 600.
-At least three years’ work experience in a managerial role in a high-technology company. Demonstrate evidence of success in solving customer IT problems.
-It is anticipated that the successful Scholar would undertake a paid internship or consulting project with TestPlant as a part of their MBA programme, between June and September. However, this would be subject to satisfactory academic performance on the taught part of the MBA and also subject to a suitable internship opportunity or consulting project becoming available within the company.
Nationality: Students of China are eligible to apply for this MBA scholarship.
College Admission Requirement
Entrance Requirements: To be eligible, candidates must be from China, and must have graduated with an IT-related degree and have at least three years’ work experience in a managerial role in a high-technology company.
English language Requirements: University require all applicants to meet one of the following English language requirements:
-Applicants are a national of a majority English-speaking country as defined by the Home Office.
– Applicants’ have completed an academic qualification at least equivalent to a UK Bachelors degree, which was taught in a majority English-speaking country.
– Applicants’ have or will have achieved the minimum required score in one of our accepted English language tests.
Test Requirements: University accept results from the following English language tests:
-IELTS (International English Language Testing System): 7.0 (with no score lower than 6.0 in each section)
-PTE (Pearson Test of English): 67 (at least 56 in each of the “Communicative Skills” sections)
-CPE (Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English): 185 (at least 169 in each module)
-CAE (Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English): 185 (at least 169 in each module)
-TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) iBT: 100 (with scores no lower than 20 in each section)
-No other testing systems are acceptable as equivalent scores.
Supporting Material: In addition to the application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the following documents:-
|Personal statement||Statement should be approximately 500 words and indicate why they have selected this particular programme, what contributions they feel they can make to the programnme, and how they see the programme affecting their career plans.|
|CV/Resume||A detailed CV to support application. This may either be done by entering their employment history on the employment tab of the online application, or by uploading their CV as part of their application.|
|References||Applicants are required to submit one reference as part of their application. To assist them with this, we have provided a reference request form. Please pass this form to their referee. Upon completion, the referee should return the signed document directly via post, or alternatively a scanned electronic copy, to the relevant address on the back of the form.Please note: Reference should be from a senior professional colleague, preferably their immediate superior, who can comment on their suitability for the MBA. In some cases we may request a second reference but in the first instance please ensure that one is supplied. They may not use a family member as a referee.|
