The Law Office of David P. Shapiro is offering two (2) scholarships for US students. The scholarship program is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with leukemia, and who is interested in pursuing secondary or post-secondary education.
Leukemia is very serious and affects millions of Americans. The Law Office of David P. Shapiro wants to try help make a difference in someone’s life that is struggling with the disease.
These are educational scholarships and will be awarded in the form of tuition paid to an educational institution selected by the winner.
Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing secondary or post-secondary education.
Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded in various subjects offered by trade school, secondary, college, or community college education.
Scholarship Award: The amount of each scholarship is $1,000.

Eligibility: The scholarship program is open to anyone who has been diagnosed with leukemia, and who is interested in pursuing secondary or post-secondary education.
Nationality: US students can apply for this scholarship.
Supporting Material: Requirements for submission of the application
-Short statement of not more than 100 words telling us how they intend to further their educational goals.
-Essay (optional) discussing how being diagnosed with and/or treated for leukemia has affected their day to day activities. The essay must be between 650 words and 1,000 words.
How to Apply: Applicant’s submission will include completion of the online application, as well as their agreement to be bound by the terms of our program.
Application Deadline: The completed application, including all attachments and uploads, must be submitted by November 9, 2016.
