2016 Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship For Indian Students

Max Arthur Macauliffe Special Merit Scholarship is available for Indian students commencing in September 2016. Scholarship is available to pursue taught master programmes at NUI Galway in all areas offered by NUI Galway.

These scholarships are aimed to improve academic progress in all areas of the NUI Galway curriculum.

The university’s aim is to examine the impact of the division between further and higher education on strategies to widen participation in undergraduate education.

All applicants, whose first language is not English, or who have not been educated through the medium of English language during their two most recent years of study, must present qualifications in the English language.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for taught master’s programmes at NUI Galway commencing September 2016.

Study Subject: Scholarship is available in all areas offered by NUI Galway.

Scholarship Award: It covers a full fee waiver of value: €13,750- €13,250.

Scholarship can be taken at: Ireland

Eligibility: For this scholarship, applicant must be:

-Indian Citizen
-Bachelor degree holder

Nationality: Indian Students can apply for this scholarship

College Admission Requirement:

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must be accepted onto a taught masters programme in order to apply for a Scholarship.

English Language Requirements: All applicants, whose first language is not English, or who have not been educated through the medium of English language during their two most recent years of study, must present one of the following qualifications in the English language:

For Arts/Business/Law/Medicine IELTS: 6.5*, TOEFL (IBT) 92 and for Science/Engineering IELTS: 6.0*, TOEFL (IBT) 80.

-Official qualifications and exam results (transcripts) to date
-English language competency
-Birth certificate
-References: unless specifically stated otherwise all students must supply the names and contact details of two referees. One must be an academic reference (in the case of applicants currently undertaking studies) OR an employer (in the case of applicants currently in employment).
