2016 RCSI & UCD Dublin Scholarship For International & Malaysian Students

Penang Medical College is pleased to offer RCSI & UCD Dublin Scholarship Programme for the year 2016. Two types of scholarship programmes are offered to both Malaysian and international students.

These scholarships are offered to provide full tuition fees assistance to students.

The college provides undergraduate education to the highest international standards in Medicine and Allied Health Sciences. The main objective of the school is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.

Applicants must have the IELTS: an average score of 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 for each component. TOEFL: minimum score of 600 with test of written English at 475+ minimum of 250 in computer-based test and minimum of 100 in internet-based test.

Course Level: Scholarship is available to pursue undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded for Medical programme.

Malaysian Scholarships FULL tuition fees for Malaysian citizens for the entire 5 years of the PMC medicine programme
International Scholarships FULL tuition fees for International students (non-Malaysian citizens) for the entire 5 years of the PMC medicine programme

Scholarship can be taken at: Malaysia

Eligibility: Applicants must meet all of the following criteria to be eligible to apply for this Scholarship:-

PMC MEDICINE PROGRAMME (MALAYSIANS ONLY)

-Open to all Malaysian citizens applying to Penang Medical College.
-Applicants are expected to obtain, actual or predicted, a minimum of AAA at A-Levels or 40 points excluding bonus points at IBDP or equivalent and must have applied to PMC.
-Recipients of scholarships will be required to acknowledge the support provided by the scholarship programme in presentations or publications resulting from receipt of the scholarships and act as Student Ambassadors for the duration of the scholarships.
-Any scholarship recipient who has to repeat an academic year will forfeit the scholarship from that point on and will cease to receive any financial support from PMC.  Scholarships are applicable solely for the 5-year PMC Medicine programme.

PMC MEDICINE PROGRAMME (INTERNATIONAL ONLY)
-Open to all International citizens applying to Penang Medical College (non-Malaysian citizens).
-Applicants are expected to obtain, actual or predicted, a minimum of AAA at A-Levels or 40 points excluding bonus points at IBDP or equivalent and must have applied to PMC.
-Recipients of scholarships will be required to acknowledge the support provided by the scholarship programme in presentations or publications resulting from receipt of the scholarships and act as Student Ambassadors for the duration of the scholarships.

Nationality: Scholarship programme is open to all Malaysian citizens as well as International applicants.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants are expected to obtain, actual or predicted, a minimum of AAA at A-Levels or 40 points excluding bonus points at IBDP or equivalent and must have applied to PMC.

English language/Test Requirements: Applicants must fulfill the following requirements:

IELTS: an average score of 6.5 and a minimum of 6.0 for each component.

– minimum of 100 in internet-based test.

Supporting Material: The following should be enclosed:
-Certified copies of all relevant examination records, certificates and full academic transcripts of any university studies, all duly certified by the school authorities.
-Confidential Statement signed and sealed by the referee in an envelope marked ‘Confidential”.
-Medical Report signed and sealed by your Physician and a certified copy of Hepatitis B Blood Test Report.
-Certified copy of Birth Certificate, Identification Card (IC) and Passport.
-Two recent passport sized photographs, signed at the back.
