University of Edinburgh invites application for twenty four scholarships for online distance learning available for pursuing online distance learning masters degree programme in Clinical Ophthalmology.
The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit and evidence of a commitment to a career in medical or surgical ophthalmology.

Supporting Material: In addition to the standard questions on the application, applicants should also provide the following information within their application:
-A personal statement of no more than 300 words, indicating your sub-specialty interests and why online distance learning suits your particular circumstances
-An outline of your preferred research project for either your MSc dissertation in Year 3 of the MSc or your Specialist Academic Activity in Year 2 of the ChM, depending on which programme you will be undertaking
-Any additional information that you believe would assist us in evaluating your application
-Details of any potential conflicts of interest arising from work or personal relationships with staff of NHS Education for Scotland, the University of Edinburgh or the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
