Applications are invited for David Sainsbury fellowships for postdoctoral programme. Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply for this fellowship programme.
The centre’s main objective is to provide high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities that are compatible to changing needs of the students.
The principles of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction and Refinement) were developed over 50 years ago as a framework for humane animal research.
University accepts all of the English language qualifications for entry to the University, including IELTS qualifications from any IELTS test centre.
Course Level: Fellowship is available for pursuing postdoctoral degree programme.
Study Subject: Applications from any area of medical, biological or veterinary research are within remit; those that integrate a range of disciplines or include an industrial partner are particularly encouraged.
Scholarship Award: Funding for David Sainsbury Fellowships is non-FEC and applicants can apply for a commensurate salary (as agreed by the host research organistion) and up to £30k per annum for other directly incurred research costs. Awards are for three year duration and there is one competition per year. The budget for the 2016/17 call is £1 million.

Eligibility: Applicants have to follow the following criteria in order to be eligible:-
-Applicants should be researchers with a minimum of two and a maximum of six years postdoctoral experience at the time of application.
-There are no residency requirements and international applicants are eligible to apply.
-Applicants are ineligible to apply if they already hold a permanent contract of employment at the host institution (e.g. lectureship position).
-Applicants must identify a Sponsor at the host Research Organisation. If time will be spent outside the host Research Organization, a Sponsor must also be identified at the collaborating institute.

Entrance Requirements: Applicants should be researchers with a minimum of two and a maximum of six years postdoctoral experience at the time of application.
English language Requirements: All students of every nationality are required to prove their English language competence. Even native-speakers of English must demonstrate that they meet our minimum language requirements to gain entry to the University. University accepts all of the English language qualifications for entry to the University, including IELTS qualifications from any IELTS test centre. Applicants who require an IELTS test as part of an application for degree-level studies may take this test at any IELTS centre.
Supporting Material: Before submitting a full application, applicants are required to complete an outline of the research proposal.

-Award date of PhD (date on degree certificate)
-Full list of publications (including those submitted or in press)
