America Solidaria US is now accepting applications for a year-long fellowship program in 13 countries throughout the Americas. Projects focus on education, health, and economic development.
The aim of the scholarships is to attract the best and most motivated people to USA.
America Solidaria US is an NGO that builds networks among the countries of the Americas.
Course Level: America Solidaria seeks volunteers to participate in a year-long fellowship program.
Study Subject: Projects focus on education, health, and economic development.
Scholarship Award: Fellowship includes:
-Travel to and from country of service
-Placement at a host organization
-Housing and monthly living stipend
-Alumni Americas Network
-Out-of-country two week orientation that provides cross-cultural, technical, health, and safety skills training
Scholarship can be taken at: Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Uruguay and the United States (Please note that volunteers are required to serve outside of their country of origin)
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:
-Applicants must be a US citizen or permanent resident
-Applicants must be 35 years or younger
-Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
-Applicants must possess professional experience in the NGO/nonprofit/social or public sector
-Applicants must demonstrate Spanish language ability
-Applicants must demonstrate leadership and collaborative skills
Nationality: US citizens can apply for this fellowship.
