Swansea University Developing Futures Scholarships In UK For International Students, 2016/17

Swansea University is awarding approximately 40 scholarships for international students. These scholarships are available to study full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme at the School of Management in September 2016.

The aim of the Swansea University scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able international students.

Swansea University is a research-led university that has been making a difference since 1920. The university has enjoyed a period of tremendous growth, and we have achieved our ambition to be a top thirty research university, soaring up the 2014 Research Excellence Framework league table to 26th in the UK from 52nd in 2008.

SWELT is the official English language test for international students wishing to study at Swansea University. The test is designed, administered and marked by English Language Training Services staff and is accepted by Swansea University as an alternative to IELTS as part of applicant’s application for a CAS.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time undergraduate or postgraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded at the School of Management.

Scholarship Award:

Undergraduate Scholarships: £2,000 for one academic year – automatically deducted from tuition fees.
Postgraduate Scholarships: £3,000 for one academic year -automatically deducted from tuition fees.

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:

  • Applicants must be in receipt of an offer to study full-time at the School of Management in September 2016.
  • Scholarships will be deducted from tuition fees and cannot be transferred to another intake if you defer entry.
  • Applicants are not eligible to hold other Swansea University awards such as bursaries, or home country sponsorship.

Nationality: Applicants for Developing Futures Undergraduate Scholarships must be from non-EU countries only and applicants for Developing Futures Postgraduate Scholarships can be from any country.

Entrance Requirement: 

  • To be eligible for entrance to a postgraduate degree programme candidates must hold a Bachelor Degree, or its equivalent, from a recognised overseas university/college of higher education
  • For individual courses Entry requirements applicants should visit their countries’ pages to relevant find information.
