The Beinecke Library, Yale University,USA invites applications for Visiting Graduate Student Summer Fellowships 2016. The US,and international students are eligible to apply for this fellowship programme.
The Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library collects, catalogs, preserves, and makes accessible rare books, manuscripts, and other formats from ancient to modern times in support of the teaching and research mission of the students and faculty of Yale University and visiting scholars throughout the world.
Study Subject: Fellowship is awarded for dissertation research.
Worth of Award: The fellowships pay for travel costs to and from New Haven and a living allowance of $3,000 per month.
Eligibility: The following criteria must be met for applicants to be eligible for fellowship:
-Graduate students (doctoral candidates) currently enrolled in PhD or DPhil programmes from across the country and around the world are invited to apply for Beinecke Visiting Graduate Student Summer Fellowships.
-The Beinecke Library offers a limited number of fellowships for non-Yale graduate students (doctoral candidates) wishing to conduct primary research for their dissertations or doctoral thesis. These awards are extremely competitive. Only applicants demonstrating a need for in-depth consultation of Beinecke materials will receive serious consideration.
Nationality: US as well as Non-US citizens are eligible to apply for this fellowship programme.
