Federation University Australia in conjunction with the Central Highlands Children and Youth Area Partnership research collaboration is pleased to offer seven fully funded Ph.D. scholarships in the Central Highlands area for commencement in September 2016.
The CHCYAP Collaborative Research program has been established to advance and apply research knowledge, build communities of practice, and support organisations to design, implement and evaluate evidence-informed interventions.
Federation University Australia is a dual-sector university with multiple campuses in Victoria, Australia. The university is based in Ballarat, but there are also campuses in Ararat, Horsham, Stawell, Churchill and online offering technical and further education (TAFE) and Horsham’s Higher Education Nursing program.
Applicants from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate English language proficiency (ELP) by achieving at least the minimum score.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing Ph.D. programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded in the Central Highlands area.
Scholarship Award: Scholarships are valued at the APA rate (2016 rate at $26 288), indexed each year. Scholarships are for a period of three years. Students awarded a scholarship will also be allocated a research-training place (which means there are no fees, either up-front or deferred).

Eligibility: To be eligible to undertake a Ph.D., applicants must meet eligibility requirements outlined on the Research website. If they are applying for ‘Honours equivalence’ please ensure that applicant provides detailed information to support their case.
Nationality: Citizens of Australia can apply for these scholarships.

Entrance Requirement: Applicants must meet minimum entry requirements of having a relevant bachelor’s degree and relevant practice experience.

English Language Requirement: Applicants from non-English speaking countries must demonstrate English language proficiency (ELP) by achieving at least the minimum score in one of the following formal test of English language proficiency within the last two years:
