2016/2017 ISTF Bachelor & Diploma Scholarships in Malaysia

The High Commission of India, Kuala is offering ISTF scholarship for Malaysian students for the academic year 2016-2017. The scholarship is available for pursuing full-time diploma and bachelor courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and other Institutions in Malaysia.

The aim of the scholarship is to enable and encourage academically able students from Malaysia.

High Commission of India provides high quality, comprehensive educational and training opportunities to the students.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing full-time diploma and bachelor courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and Institutions in Malaysia.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to study all the subjects.

Scholarship Award: Please note that the scholarship does not cover the full cost of studies, and is only a one-time financial assistance.

Scholarship can be taken in Malaysia

Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following guidelines:

  • Students pursuing full-time diploma and bachelor courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and Institutions in Malaysia may apply for the scholarship
  • Only one student from a family may apply for financial assistance from the ISTF in 2016-17.

Nationality: Malaysian students of Indian origin can apply for this scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirement: Applicant must be pursuing full-time diploma and bachelor courses in Universities, Colleges, Polytechnics and Institutions in Malaysia.

How to Apply: Please send the application by post to High Commission of India. Applicant should include the following:

  • Paste a passport size photo in the box provided on the first page of this application.
  • Photocopy of Bonafide Student Certificate / Letter of Proof of studying to be obtained from the university / college / institution.
  • Applicant’s IC photocopy
  • Photocopy of latest mark sheet, (if possible, enclose a guide to converting the grades to percentage).
  • Salary Slip / Pension Statement / Income Declaration of both parents. If they are not working, enclose a Statutory Declaration signed in front of a Commissioner of Oaths.
  • In the case of single parents, enclose a photocopy of the death certificate / divorce papers.
  • In the case of disabled persons (OKU) or persons with the health problem, attach proof of disability or a doctor’s letter.
