2017/2018 PhD Visiting Fellowships for International Students in Sweden

Applications are invited for PhD visiting fellowships at Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics. These fellowships are available for the students of all countries but, preference will be given to Nordic countries students.

The program, which is primarily intended for PhD students in the Nordic countries, offers selected students the opportunity to spend time at Nordita and take advantage of the research environment and ongoing scientific activities at the institute and the AlbaNova University Center in Stockholm.

The Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics or Nordita is an international organization for research in theoretical physics. Its purpose is to carry out research and strengthen the Nordic collaboration within the basic areas of theoretical physics.

Course Level: Fellowships are available for pursuing visiting PhD student program.

Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded in all research areas available at Nordita and Stockholm area universities.

Scholarship Award: A visiting PhD fellowship will be awarded for a period of one to three months, providing accommodation and travel to and from Stockholm, but no salary or per diem.

Eligibility: The visiting PhD student program at Nordita is open for applications for visits during 2017. The program, which is primarily intended for PhD students in the Nordic countries, offers selected students the opportunity to spend time at Nordita and take advantage of the research environment and ongoing scientific activities at the institute and the AlbaNova University Center in Stockholm. This can, in particular, include collaboration on research projects with Nordita academic staff and participation in Nordita Scientific Programs in areas of interest for the students. Visiting PhD fellows may also be interested in taking PhD-level courses offered at Stockholm area universities.

Nationality: The fellowships are available for the students of all countries but, preference will be given to Nordic countries students.
