McGill University is offering two postdoctoral fellowships in Global Governance. These fellowships are open to citizens of all nationalities and will be awarded for a two-year period starting in September 2017.
Global governance is considered to include the formal and informal rules and practices designed to promote sustainable, inclusive development and democratic governance.
McGill University is an English-language public research university in Montreal, Canada. It was officially founded by a royal charter issued by King George IV in 1821.
All international applicants for whom English is not the native tongue must provide proof of competence in the English language.
Course Level: Fellowships are available for pursuing the postdoctoral programme.
Study Subject: Fellowships are awarded in the field of Global Governance.
Scholarship Award: Each Fellowship includes a yearly stipend of $55,000 CAD and a yearly research allowance of $10,000 CAD.
Scholarship can be taken in Canada
Eligibility: Fellowships are open to all nationalities and disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. Scholars who received their PhD after August 31, 2014, or who will have completed all PhD degree requirements by July 1, 2017, are eligible to apply. Applicants who do not have the PhD in hand at the time of application must include a letter from their Department Chair specifying the date of the dissertation defence. Successful applicants who do not complete all requirements for their PhD by July 1, 2017, will have their offer of award withdrawn.
